// founder-led product studio

Production-grade software at startup speed.

Web and mobile apps, scoped in days and live in weeks. Built by a principal engineer who's scaled products to thousands of users. You talk to him directly, never through an account manager.

// the problem

Why most products never ship

If you've tried to get software built before, at least one of these will sound familiar.

The agency quote

Sixty thousand dollars and four months for something that should take four weeks, with juniors doing the actual work while the seniors attend your status calls.

The freelancer gamble

Great communication for two weeks, then slower replies, then silence. And when you finally find a replacement, they can't make sense of the code.

The no-code ceiling

Fast to start, painful to grow. The moment you need proper auth or a custom integration, you're rebuilding from scratch anyway. And you're still paying the platform every month.

The hiring detour

Six months searching for a technical co-founder or first engineer while the window for your idea slowly closes. Equity is expensive; waiting is worse.

// the fix

Plixy exists for the gap in the middle. Senior engineering on a fixed scope, with a timeline measured in weeks, and none of the agency overhead or freelancer roulette.

What we build

Everything you need to get from idea to a product people use, under one roof.

MVP Development

Take your idea from napkin sketch to a live product real users can try. Scoped tight so it ships in weeks, not quarters.

Web Applications

Dashboards, SaaS platforms, internal tools, customer portals. Modern web apps built to load fast and change easily.

Mobile Apps

iOS and Android from a single codebase, with a native feel and app-store review handled. You don't pay for two separate builds.

AI Integrations

LLM features wired into your real data: chat, search, summarization, automation. Built by people who run this in production, not from a tutorial.

Product Rescue

Inherited a half-finished build or a codebase nobody understands? We audit it, stabilize it, and get it shipping again.

Ongoing Support

Post-launch retainers for fixes and new features, so the product keeps moving after day one.

Products we've built and scaled

Shipped by our founder as principal or lead engineer. The same person who'll build yours.

Idea → App Store

Madespace — AI interior design

madespace.ai

An interior design studio wanted their own app, so we built the whole thing. Design a room by blending styles instead of typing prompts, with AI tuned to the studio's own designers. Buy the furniture straight from the render, or book a call with a real designer. Shipped to the App Store — they own all of it.

8,000+ space companies tracked

InsightOrca — space-sector intelligence

insightorca.com

"The Command Terminal for Space" — a market-intelligence platform for the space economy. Built the entire frontend as lead engineer: dashboards, a live sector newsfeed, capability analysis, and M&A deal tracking, all kept fast and legible over 200K+ records. Won the 2025 FORGE Award.

1,000+ docs/day · 99.9% uptime

top.legal — contract intelligence

top.legal

A German contract-intelligence platform for legal and procurement teams. Led the engineering on the document pipeline: 1,000+ contracts a day through a distributed system, a Neo4j graph of 100K+ legal entities, and real-time editing for 20+ people in a live dealroom. An event-driven rebuild cut processing time 70%.

Somethings — teen mental health

somethings.com

A teen mental-health app that pairs kids with certified peer mentors, not chatbots. As founding engineer, built the full stack — React Native app, backend, admin tools — and scaled it 100x. Also built the AI layer: production MCP servers and an assistant that lets non-technical staff query platform data in plain English. 1.3M+ messages, 58% 30-day retention.

// process

From first call to production

A simple, transparent path where you always know what's happening and what it costs.

01

Scope call

A free 30-minute call. We dig into what you're building, why, and what the smallest useful version looks like.

02

Fixed proposal

Within 48 hours you get a written scope, a fixed price, and a delivery date. We don't bill hourly and we don't do open-ended estimates.

03

Build sprints

We build in short sprints with a working demo at the end of each one. You see real progress, not status reports.

04

Launch & support

We deploy to production, hand over the code and docs, and stick around for fixes. Ongoing support is there if you want it.

// included

Every build ships complete

Nothing here is a paid add-on. The unglamorous parts that make software real come with every project.

Auth & accounts

Sign-up, login, roles, and permissions done properly.

Payments

Stripe subscriptions or one-time checkout, tax-ready.

Admin dashboard

Manage users, content, and data without asking us.

AI features

LLM features wired to your real data, not a chatbot bolt-on.

Transactional email

Onboarding, receipts, and notifications that land in inboxes.

Analytics & monitoring

Know what users do and get paged before they notice bugs.

Production deploy

CI/CD, staging environment, and a real domain from week one.

Docs & handover

A codebase any competent engineer can pick up after us.

// who you'll work with

Founder-led, on purpose

Arman Khan, founder of Plixy Tech

Arman Khan

Founder & Principal Engineer

Every Plixy project is scoped and delivered by one accountable engineer, not handed to whoever's free this sprint. You get direct access to my calendar and my commits. As we grow, other senior engineers will join builds under my direction. The accountability stays with me.

  • Principal engineer at a NYC health-tech startup — owned the full stack from day one
  • 7+ years shipping for startups across the US, Germany, and India
  • Led and mentored engineering teams while staying hands-on
  • Deep production AI/LLM experience: Claude API, MCP servers, RAG, agentic systems

// pricing

Fixed scope. Milestone billing.

Every project is split into milestones that end in working demos. You approve each one before paying for the next.

Questions we hear a lot

I'm not technical. Can I still work with you?+

Most of our clients aren't. You describe the problem in plain language and we turn it into scope and working software. Weekly demos keep you in the loop without reading a line of code, and we'll explain any decision in terms of what it costs and what it gets you.

Who actually builds my product?+

Our founder, a principal engineer with 7+ years shipping production systems, scopes and builds every project himself. As we grow, senior engineers join under his direction, but you always have a direct line to whoever is accountable for delivery. No account manager sits between you and the work.

How are you this fast without cutting corners?+

We lean on AI hard for the repetitive majority of development, using the same agentic workflow our founder runs on production systems serving thousands of users. The judgment calls stay human: architecture, data models, security, the edge cases that sink products. Generated code gets reviewed like code from a fast junior developer. Useful, never trusted by default.

Do I actually own the code?+

Completely, from the first commit. Everything lives in a repository you own, written in a standard stack (TypeScript, React, React Native) that any competent developer can pick up. If we disappeared tomorrow, you'd lose nothing but our company.

Can you add AI features to an existing product?+

Yes, and in production rather than demos: MCP servers, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems serving real users. We'll also tell you when an AI feature is a gimmick that will burn budget without moving your numbers.

What if we need changes mid-build?+

Small adjustments get absorbed; that's normal product development. Bigger direction changes get re-scoped in the open: we tell you what they add in time and cost, and you decide. What we won't do is quietly let scope creep and surprise you with an invoice.

What happens after launch?+

Every build includes a post-launch fix window. After that, take the code and run, or keep us involved — ongoing support sprints, or a fractional CTO arrangement if you need technical leadership beyond the build. Most clients do a mix: build with us when there's something to ship, pause when there isn't.
